South Jersey Umpire Association

Joe McDyre was a long time umpire for South Jersey Umpire Association serving as a past President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Assignor. His love of the game and dedication to umpiring led him to the highest levels of umpiring in the State of New Jersey. Joe served as long time board member for the Rancocas Valley League and was honored by the Hot Stover in November 2015 for “long time service, long time ability and contributions as a baseball official for more than three decades.” The Joe McDyre Tournament is to serve as a rememberance of a long time umpire that gave his heart and dedication to South Jersey baseball.
